With profound respect and heartfelt gratitude, we honor the life and legacy of Illustrious Joseph L. Thomas 33°, whose unwavering dedication and visionary leadership shaped the United Supreme Council of the Southern and Western Jurisdiction (A.A.S.R.) for more than four decades. He insisted on inclusion of the younger members so that they one day could step up and lead with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

Illustrious Thomas devoted his life to service—not only to the Military as a Colonel but to the State of Louisiana, to his Church, Community, Masonry Orders, and Fraternity (Alpha Phi Alpha). His commitment was marked by tireless effort, steadfast integrity, and an enduring passion for uplifting others. For over 40 years, he worked diligently to strengthen our organization, ensuring its growth and stability while preserving its cherished traditions and passing down a legacy of leadership and knowledge.

Brothers and Sisters, it is with a sad and heavy heart that I inform you that we have loss a Brother, Companion, Sir. Knight, Nobel, Inspector General, and Friend. Due to a fatal accident he was suddenly taken from us and removed from our ranks. Unfortunately we have to say farewell to our unique and Noble Brother Ill. Lamont Robinson  33°

I say unique for so many reasons, but one that stands out the most is the dedication, love, and energy that he gave to help make our United Supreme Council and all it Affiliations, Auxiliaries, and Departments the Best that it could be. He was a high ranking Mason that was elected to Key Officer position in "EVERY HOUSE."

He was a service to humanity as a medical professional and as a shinning example to others as a life well-lived. To the East he returns, leaving a legacy of wisdom and light."
