This picture is a Blow up of the elegant, true, and sincere words of the most recent Treaty/Warrant Agreement reemphasizing and reconnecting the Brotherly Bond forged between the 1880 National Grand Lodge of Romania and the General Grand Masonic Congress (G.G.M.C.) and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Washington, D.C. (A.F. & A.M.). This Legal document had to endure the Communist take over of Romania and the 1914 World War I interruption of World affairs and relationships. It had to overcome the hostil attempts of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Regime during World War II, and many other Wars, Battles, and Civil Rights issues on both fronts over the Political landscape of time... But through all that, after more than a century of separation, the bonds of brotherhood are like a cable-toe that transcend all and finds its way back home for a Grand reunion... Notice as they are having their opening ceremony. .. the Honorable Ill. Ollie Spencer Sr. 33, who is the Past Grand Master of the M.W. Grand Lodge of Washington, D.C. (A.F. & A.M.) that Originally recieved the Warrant to Work Masonry in the United States and Canada. Ill. Ollie Spencer Sr. 33/98 was also the Past President General (Emeritus) of the GGMC, you will find him and other leaders within our Masonic Jurisdiction in attendance at conferences and meetings with our International Bretheren in the background or foreground of the other International pictures with all of the International Grand Lodges throughout this page and others. This is more evidence that our bond is as real today as it was yesteryear in 1896 with Ill H. C. Scott 33 who like Ollie Spencer Sr. 33/98 were both Grand Masters and representatives of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Washington, D.C. (A.F. & A.M.) and all it's affiliated American & Canadian Grand Lodges...As Our Mother Grand Lodge...Our Holy See.

In 1896, "The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge" of Washington, DC, received its sovereign Warrant Charter from The Grand Lodge of Romania. This historic document is the sacred root of our lineage, empowering our work within the United States. Reaffirmed in 2017, this international bond ensures our legacy remains global and eternal.

OUR LINEAGE
There are other Masonic Orders that use our history and name. However, we take pride in the fact that our General Grand Masonic Congress is the First General Grand Masonic Congress and all others are splits. None are affiliated with the Mother Grand Lodge and our Holy see "The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge", Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Washington, DC which received its Warrant Charter from "The Grand Lodge of Romania" in (1896) to work in the United States. This site contains a copy of that Warrant standing as Proof that our G.G.M.C. is who we say we are. Masons from other Jurisdictions claim to have a copy of their Original Warrant & Charter to be Regular and operate legally...
These age-old ties with Romania simply reestablish and reaffirm our international friendships with the Grand Master of Romania (2017) along with other Treaties all over Europe and Asia with other Grand Masters and President Generals of other G. G. M. C.'s Nation Wide.
