OUR LINEAGE
There are other Masonic Orders that use our history and name. However, we take pride in the fact that our General Grand Masonic Congress is the First General Grand Masonic Congress and all others are splits. None are affiliated with the Mother Grand Lodge and our Holy see "The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge", Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Washington, DC which received its Warrant Charter from "The Grand Lodge of Romania" in (1896) to work in the United States. This site contains a copy of that Warrant standing as Proof that our G.G.M.C. is who we say we are. Masons from other Jurisdictions claim to have a copy of their Original Warrant & Charter to be Regular and operate legally...
These age-old ties with Romania simply reestablish and reaffirm our international friendships with the Grand Master of Romania (2017) along with other Treaties all over Europe and Asia with other Grand Masters and President Generals of other G. G. M. C.'s Nation Wide.
Romania & Our Lineage
Our connection to Romania represents the very foundation of our legitimacy. In 1896, "The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge" of Washington, DC, under the guidance of Ill. Henry C. Scott 33⁰ and Ill. John G. Jones 33⁰, received its sovereign Warrant Charter from The Grand Lodge of Romania. This historic document is the sacred root of our lineage, empowering our work within the United States. For over a century, this international bond has remained unbroken. What began in 1896 continues today, carried forward by the dedicated leadership of Past President General Ill. Ollie Spencer Sr. 33⁰/98⁰ and our Current President General Ill. Michael Billingslea 33⁰. These age-old ties were reaffirmed in 2017 through our enduring friendship with the Grand Master of Romania, ensuring that our legacy of brotherly love and masonic tradition remains both global and eternal.
